Assign each guest a month. The gift should be something the bride can use during that month.

This is especially fun when planning a shower for 12 or less.

Invitation Idea
The invitation could be designed out of small desk top calendars with pretty pictures. Be sure and send a different month to each guest and include the shower information.

Decoration Idea
Find 12 calendars and use one for each month. Use decorations around the room for each of the months. While this may seem a little confusing, the guests will identify with each one and be able to celebrate Summer, Fall, Winter and Spring! Purchase four different paper tablecloths and join them together to form one (use a double stick tape). Use candles representing the different seasons as placeholders around the table.
