If you are doing a buffet without formal seating, be sure there are enough chairs and card tables around. Fancy plates and silverware may also be used. Pre-pour your wine or punch for easy access by guests. If you are doing a buffet but with formal table seating, make sure you have enough seats! You may or may not choose name card seating assignment. Consider placing a party favor at each seat too. If you are doing a sit-down meal, make sure you have some extra seating. Linen, fine china, crystal, and silver. Make sure you have your table completely set BEFORE any guests arrive.
